－流浪之歌音樂節資深觀眾，來自德國的大大樹鄰居Kurt在台灣每年大量的音樂節中，「流浪之歌」音樂節無疑是最獨特的一個。不同國家、地區、語言和文化傳統的音樂人，無論是職業性的，還是業餘性的，都同時在一個舞臺上出現，重播自己命運土壤生長的聲音場景，疏散渴望向世界出走流浪的力量。在固定的歌聲中，釋放不穩定的心情，連接不確定的想像與憧憬，這是「流浪」在一首歌中的命數。而與內地大多數音樂節更不同的是，「流浪之歌」的主辦方在每一屆都會策劃一個不同的主題，這決定了音樂節不僅僅是一種關於年齡遞加的文化，而且更應該是一種關於思考無限延伸的行動。

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
The whole Migration Music Festival has been a delight and each and every concert has been a high point. All these performances culminated in the spirit and soul elevating final concert, in which all high points were added on top of each other to reach the ultimate sound experience.
After the last concert I said to a friend that this is a very rare musical experience, something to hear probably every 10 years - he agreed. Later, outside the concert hall I met a Taiwanese couple, who also joined the whole festival, in their 50's, living in Taipei and New York - they topped my comment by saying that it has been a "once in a lifetime experience". I can sign on to this without hesitation. The perfect fusion of instruments and voices, sounds and melodies played by top professionals from so diversified cultural and musical backgrounds created this extraordinary musical experience. The audience could feel the raw fun and excitement of the musicians in this collaboration.
Please let me know when the festival's CD/DVD will be released. This is unluckily the only way to capture this event in space and time.
The venue in Chung Shan Hall, having its own character, provided a perfect setting for the concert, somewhere between 'official' concert and festival.
