科索沃戰爭四年後，在聯合國接管的首都Pristina（很可能是地球上軍事戒備最森嚴的一個），一個塞爾維亞家庭正準備迎接除夕夜。在這個難得的夜晚，孩子卻因為害怕而不敢外出，只能在公寓的走廊上踢球。在大人們喝著酒，聽家鄉的歌謠時，孩子們專注地看著螢幕上無聲的電影……導演捕捉了壓抑而灰暗的氣氛與被戰爭奪走了一切的家庭。聖誕老公公沒有來，在孩子的眼中，只有戰火的灰燼而不見希望。

Director
Boris Mitić spends New Year’s eve with a group of
Serbian families living in an abandoned building in UN-administered
Kosovo. Filmed in 2003, four years after the war, the families
do not dare leave the building for fear of attack by Albanian
neighbors and extremists. This is Mitić’s second film.

Boris Mitić
1977年出生於南塞爾維亞，曾擔任新聞記者，後開始獨立製作紀錄片。2003年以家庭剪輯器材完成他的第一部作品《美麗拼裝車》，推出後一鳴驚人，受邀全球超過六十個影展，擄獲了十一個影展獎項。隔年Boris
Mitić完成《科索沃除夕夜》，依然受到全球矚目。他的影像並非滿足世人對於巴爾幹半島火藥庫的獵奇心態，藉由他獨樹一格的剪輯風格與影像呈現，觀眾對於巴爾幹半島上複雜的政治現狀與種族衝突，皆能有最深刻且貼近現場般的了解。此次音樂節Boris
Mitić亦受邀前來，與同處於多種族島嶼的台灣朋友交流，並參與演出，展現他影像創作外的音樂才華。
Born
in 1977 in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, Boris Mitic
was a professional journalist until he decided to make his
first film, Pretty Dyana, which has been screened
at over 60 festivals. Mitic has received 11 awards for Dyana
and is currently working on his third film, Apocalypse
Now, which is about satirical
aphorisms unique to the Serbian Langue.
