Ross Daly
在不斷的旅行與相遇中，Ross Daly成就了他豐富的音樂。生於英國的愛爾蘭後裔，Ross Daly從小就與家人一起遊歷世界，也同時啟發了他對音樂的興趣。在美國學會大提琴、在日本學會古典吉他等，印度古典音樂則是Ross Daly生命中首次經歷非西方傳統的音樂類型，卻讓他一頭栽入，好幾年都沉迷在印度與阿富汗的音樂傳統裡。1975年起展開的克里特島之旅，Ross Daly有如求道般從這個村莊流浪至另一個村莊，終於習得當地的民謠樂器─小里拉琴（lyra）。而在這段期間他也時常造訪土耳其，將奧圖曼的古典樂放入他的音樂行李箱。在收集了如此多樣的樂器及音樂傳統後，Ross Daly開始將全副心思放在作曲上，至今日已發表超過廿五張創作專輯。他目前於克里特島組織的音樂組合「迷宮」，在不同的音樂節中，與不同的音樂大師對話，來自伊朗的徹米哈尼三人組也是他的合作夥伴之一。Ross Daly與音樂家總維繫著深厚的友情，他相信音樂家之間若有深刻的內在聯繫，會使音樂更精采。

From a young age, multi-instrumentalist Ross Daly immersed himself in various music traditions, which eventually led to extended studies in including Indian classical music, Ottoman classical, and Turkish folk music. The British-born musician traveled to the Greek island of Crete, where he studied the Cretan Lyra (a pear-shaped upright fiddle) with master player Kostas Mountakis for many years. To date, Daly has released more than 25 records that feature his own compositions as well as traditional melodies from diverse sources. He is based in Crete and directs the musical workshop group Labyrinth.

 
Kelly Thoma

生於希臘的海港城市比雷埃夫斯，Kelly Thoma除在大學接受正統教育外，也在專業的舞蹈學院「拉魯．瑪努」習舞。1995年起追隨Ross Daly學習小里拉琴，並參與多場「迷宮」的演出，巡迴歐、亞、澳洲等地，與世界各地不同文化傳統的音樂家共奏。這些相遇的經驗使Kelly Thoma漸漸發展出一種專屬於她的彈奏風格。兩千年起她與Ross Daly搭檔，陸續在世界各大音樂節演出。

A native of Pireaus, Greece, Kelly Thoma has studied the lyra with Ross Daly since 1995. She has performed on stages all over the world, including the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia with Daly’s project, Labyrinth. Thoma lends her unique and individual style of lyra-playing to her duets with Daly – an unusual combination as the lyra is typically used as a solo instrument.
