本片為導演Boris Mitić的處女作，以流浪於首都貝爾格勒（Belgrade）郊區的吉普賽難民為主角。他們靠著將雪鐵龍的報廢車輛改裝成造型奇特的雜牌再生車，開著車去拾荒。這些拼裝車有時候跑得很好，大多時候誰也拿它沒辦法。在這群難民的生活與對話中，瀰漫著矛盾的國際政治現實與無奈，但也看到吉普賽人泰然浪漫的處世態度。

A group of Gypsy refugees in Belgrade make their living by collecting cardboard, bottles, and scrap metal. To carry out their work, the gypsies seek out Citroen's classic 2CV and Dyana cars and convert them into Mad-Max-like recycling vehicles. This film looks at the role of these Frankenstein vehicles, which are held in high regard by their owners.

伯瑞斯•米提克 Boris Mitić

1977年出生於南塞爾維亞，曾擔任新聞記者，後開始獨立製作紀錄片。2003年以家庭剪輯器材完成他的第一部作品《美麗拼裝車》，推出後一鳴驚人，受邀全球超過六十個影展，擄獲了十一個影展獎項。隔年Boris Mitić完成《科索沃除夕夜》，依然受到全球矚目。他的影像並非滿足世人對於巴爾幹半島火藥庫的獵奇心態，藉由他獨樹一格的剪輯風格與影像呈現，觀眾對於巴爾幹半島上複雜的政治現狀與種族衝突，皆能有最深刻且貼近現場般的了解。此次音樂節Boris Mitić亦受邀前來，與同處於多種族島嶼的台灣朋友交流，並參與演出，展現他影像創作外的音樂才華。

Born in 1977 in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, Boris Mitic was a professional journalist until he decided to make his first film, Pretty Dyana, which has been screened at over 60 festivals. Mitic has received 11 awards for Dyana and is currently working on his third film, Apocalypse Now, which is about satirical aphorisms unique to the Serbian Langue.
